50, of Dayton, Virginia died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 5:15 a.m. in Dayton, Virginia .
Born July 27, 1962, she was the daughter of the late William Poynter, Sr. and the late Alpha Jean (Goldon) Poynter.
Penny had worked in the Cable Industry. She was a very spiritual person who never met a stranger. She also loved her Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
Surviving are: loving companion, Donald "Red" Bartley; three sons, Kent R. E. (Leah) McCleary of Elida, OH, Joseph S. McCleary of Elida, OH and Cody B. Joseph of Waynesfield, OH; two granddaughters, Nevaeh McCleary, and Skyla Joseph; two brothers, Tony Poynter, William Poynter, Jr. and Joe Whittamore; and seveal nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Interment of ashes will be in Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Elida, OH. at a later date.
