Perpetuo Montano

Perpetuo Montano, 82, of Lima, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at his home. He was born in San Juan, Calamba to the late Ambrosio and Illuminada {Gecale} Montano. On June 17, 1962, he married Rosario Montano who preceded him in death.

Perpetuo enjoyed fishing and playing BINGO and going to the casino. Most of all he loved being around his family. He is survived by his children: Aida (Nestor) Ignacio, Reynando (Felicitas) Montano, Flordeliza (Mario) Purugganan, Odilon (Candy) Montano, Maria Veronica Montano, Jennifer Montano, June Montano, and Jayson (Kacie) Montano, 27 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sisters: Fely Hernandez, Josie Montano, Eugenia (Hero) Rodis, Lulu (Ancing) De la Cruz, and Zeny (Gany) Yumul.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his sons: Tolentino Montano and Moises Montano, sister: Nati Miller, and brother: Ponciano Montano.

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Friends may visit 2 hours prior to the service at the church.  Father Paul Matthew will officiate.
