79, died at 3:40 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.
Perry was born on March 1, 1936, in Leipsic, Ohio, to the late Perry Kennerson and Mary (Curran) Kennerson.
Perry married Betty Kennerson on April 30, 1954. She preceded him in death. He served in the United States Marines during the Korean War from March 3, 1953 to March 9, 1957. He had worked and retired from Buckeye Rubber and had worked for from Clark Equipment. He was an avid Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes, Bengals and fighting Irish Fan
He is survived by: two sons, Don Kennerson and Joseph Kennerson; five grandchildren, Yvonne Ruiz, SSgt Nicholas (Haley) Smith, POI Jesse (Andrew) Kennerson, of Waterfield, Julie Kennerson and Megan Linser; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadette Schoonover and Betty Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by: a daughter-in-law, Deb Kennerson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Chaplain Richard Coon will officiate. Military Rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1275.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
