Philip W. Donoho, 73, died at 1:05 a.m. May 31, 2010, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1936, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Curtis B. and Thera Hammack Donoho, who preceded him in death. On August 21, 1956, he married Maverine ?Mae? Rogier, who survives. Mr. Donoho worked with Nickle Plate Railroad and retired as a conductor after 42 years with the Norfolk & Southern railroad. He was a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose lodges. He was an avid boater and fisherman. Survivors also include a son, Curtis M. (Sharon) Donoho, of Elida, Ohio; two daughters, Cynthia (Karl) Stemen, of Elida, Ohio, and Deborah (Michael) Flemming, of Johnstown, Ohio; six grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Kendra, Megan, Kyle and Zackry; a brother, Earnest Ronald (Nancy) Donoho, of Bullhead City, Arizona; five sisters, LouNella (John) Heise, of Frankfort, Indiana, Beverly Kaehler, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Marian (Don) Grobe, of San Diego, California, Sarah Fudge, of Columbus, Ohio, and Sue (Kenny) Estes, of Frankfort, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor James Neighbors will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
