PHILLIP G. STUMP, 65, died at 7:40 p.m. August 16, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1941, in Lima, Ohio to Gene and Margaret Louth Stump, who preceded him in death. On June 13, 1959, he married Carolyn Shook, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Stump retired from Warehouse Associates and had worked at Clark Equipment for more than 21 years and Otis Wright Trucking. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He had been involved in Junior Achievement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling. Survivors also include two sons, Michael (Kelli) Stump and David (Kimberly) Stump, both of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Christine (David) Duncan of Valparaiso, Indiana; a brother, Dennis (Kathy) Stump of Lima, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, Jason Stump, Megan Duncan, Adam Stump, Justin Duncan, Corey Stump, Hannah Duncan and Joshua Stump. Graveside services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. David Ritchie will officiate.
