Ralph Ash, Sr., 69 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, February 22, 2013 in Ocala, Florida.
Born Thursday, July 8, 1943 in Buckeye, West Virginia he was the son of the late Edward Ash and the late Phyllis Davis Ash. On February 6, 1998 he married Catherine "Katie" Scribner Ash and she survives in Lima.
He was a hi-lift operator, working at Roundy's in Lima retiring in 1999. After retiring he worked at Bindels.
He loved camping, fishing and hunting, and he loved to travel, He was a Steelers and NASCAR fan. Loved his dog Patches.
Surviving are two sons; Ralph (Laura) Ash, Jr. and Tim (Kathleen) Ash both of Lima, OH, two daughters; Debra Ash and Kelli (Russell) Bender both of Lima, OH, two step-daughters; Jean (Bill) Seffernick and Penny (Chuck) Gardner both of Lima, OH, also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, three brothers; Clarence (Mary) Ash of West Union, WV, John (Jermaine) Ash of Lawton, OK and Gary (Twila) Ash of Ocala, FL, two sisters; Carolyn (Ray) Pritt of West Union, WV and Phyllis (Jeff) McKinney of Salem, WV.
He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Edward Ash and brother, Charles Ash.
A Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff McKinney officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
