79, died at 2:55 PM on Monday, September 22, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Ralph was born on April 13, 1935, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Ralph V. Campbell and Vivian Ruth (McMahon) Campbell.

Ralph married Sarah L. Sroufe on Sunday April 15, 1956 in Elida, Ohio. She preceded him in death on November 3, 2009. He was employed with Phillips, Ottawa for 40 years. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1954. He loved NASCAR Sundays, The Ohio State University buckeyes and socializing with his friends and classmates. He loved Word Searches, Puzzle Books, Jigsaw Puzzles and was an expert at needle point. He loved collecting all things and finding out how things worked. He loved the simple things like sitting around the campfire with family and friends.

He was survived by: a son, Darrell (Jan) Campbell, of Lima, OH, and a daughter, Jane Campbell, of Lima, OH, three grandchildren, Ben (Beth) Campbell, of Huntington, IN, Erin Campbell, of Lima, OH, Stephanie (Adam) Jordan, of Lima, OH; four great grandchildren, Lilian Campbell, Kinsey Jordan, Linden Campbell and Annabel Jordan; a sister, Lorene (Harold) Keller, of Lima, OH; two brothers-in-law, Ray (Nancy) Sroufe, of Florida and Nile (Pauline) Sroufe, of Lima, OH. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: two sisters, Alice (Jerry) Sanders and Joan (Pete) Smith.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio and on Friday, September 26 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. also at the funeral home.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Pastor Kenny Rader will officiate.

Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
