Ralph Mcmillen

Ralph E. McMillen, 98, died at 10 a.m. April 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born October 3. 1909, in Lima, Ohio to Eugene A. and Myrtle Teagarden McMillen, who preceded him in death. On May 9, 1937, he married Helen E. Morrison, who died February 26, 2002. Mr. McMillen worked at Buckeye Pipeline for 39 years. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors also include a son, Milan McMillen, of Ada, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Debbie McMillen, of Ada, Ohio; two granddaughters, Tiffany McMillen, of Lima, Ohio, and Kimberly McMillen, of Columbus, Ohio; and a great-grandson, Joshua Sergeant, of Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tom McMillen; three brothers, Clarence McMillen, Harold McMillen and Albert McMillen; and two sisters, Margaret Fisher and Lucille Houx. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Brother Harrison Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in Hassan Cemetery, Jenera. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Church of Christ.
