Dr. Ralph L. Woodworth, 76, died at 6:18 a.m. June 11, 2010, from injuries suffered in an auto accident on Interstate 94, near St. Paul, Minnesota. He was born December 17, 1933, in Lima, Ohio to Robert and Naomi Males Woodworth, who preceded him in death. On August 20, 1955, he married Erma J. Miller, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Dr. Woodworth was a pastor at Free Methodist churches in Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin for 20 years. He attended Lima Pilgrim Holiness Church. He received his doctorate degree in 1982. He taught at St. Paul Bible College in Minnesota and Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. He wrote for several Christian publications. He enjoyed gardening and hiking. Survivors include two sons, Steven (Leah) Woodworth, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Timothy Woodworth, of Blaine, Minnesota.; a brother, Arthur Woodworth, of New Mexico; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lima Pilgrim Holiness Church. Pastor Donald Nichols will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
