Randall "Randy" Ciminillo,
57 of Lima, Ohio died on Sunday, December 4, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born Monday, August 9, 1954 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lewis Ciminillo and Vera Paglow Ciminillo who survives in Lima, Ohio.
Randy operated Ciminillo Produce Co. with his brother David until he became ill. He had an uncanny ability to remember names and events, birth dates and always knew whose birthday it was, family, friends, and co-workers. He never complained about his work or his illness and was never too busy to speak with someone, and was always very dependable. Randy was an excellent athlete in his younger years and excelled in baseball and football at Lima Central Catholic. He was a peace maker who set a good example for his siblings, He was a soft spoken gentle man who was very kind hearted.
Surviving are brothers, Jeff (Lorraine) Ciminillo of Lima, OH, Dan (Kris) Ciminillo of Cincinnati, OH, Greg (Lisa) Ciminillo of Lima, OH, Scot (Christina) Ciminillo of Bluffton, OH, Christopher Ciminillo of Lima, OH and David (Julie) Ciminillo of Lima, OH, sisters, Mary Jo (Dan) Gast of Lima, OH, Connie (Tom) Ford of Hanover Park, IL, Patti (Ray) Hicks of Lima, OH, Beckie Ciminillo-Keys of Powell, OH and Renee Jayne of Perrysburg, OH., Sister-in-law LuLa Faye Ciminillo of Lima, Ohio., 46 nieces and nephews, many great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was precededed by brothers, Robert Lewis Ciminillo and James Anthony Ciminillo, and a brother-in-law Patrick Keys.
Visitation: Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. St. Charles Catholic Church. With Father Steve Blum officiating
Interment: Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio
Memorial Contributions: To a Scholarship Fund to be established at Lima Central Catholic in Randy's name.
