RAYMOND M. WIESENMAYER, 76, died at 8:43 a.m. Sept. 18, 2005, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. He was born April 2, 1929, in Lima to Fred and Dorothy Worline Wiesenmayer, who preceded him in death. On April 15, 1998, he married Bernice Johnson Aska, who died April 5, 2004. Mr. Wiesenmayer was a scissors sharpener. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275, the DRV and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was an Army veteran serving from Aug. 4, 1947, to Feb. 10, 1950. Survivors include a son, Randy Wiesenmayer of Morgantown, W.Va.; three daughters, Sally Teets of Phoenix, Jenny (Larry) Thines of Lima and Peggy Wiesenmayer of Maryland; two stepsons, James (Kate) Aska of Upper Sandusky and Gerald (Beverly) Aska of Lima; and four sisters, Anna (Eldon) Sykes and Betty (Donald) Dahlke, both of Lima, Delores Rider of Indian Lake and Juanita Kelley of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Glenn Wiesenmayer; and a son-in-law, Mark Teets. Services will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Cridersville Cemetery, Cridersville. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
