Raymond was born on August 6, 1951, in Garden City, Michigan, to the late Robert Woods and Genevieve [Wood] Woods.

Raymond married Diana Britt on June 9, 1984. She survives in Lima. He was employed at Midwest Plastics for the last 10 years. He graduated in 1970 from Robichaud High School in Dearborn Heights, MI. He loved animals, Harleys and Country Music. He was a very kind compassionate and caring person, and always had a kind heart. He loved NASCAR, the races at Limaland and the motorcycle races at the Allen County Fairgrounds.

He is survived by: three sons, Shawn (Edith) Woods, of Sidney, OH, James (Danielle) Woods, of Lemon Grove, CA, and Gerod Woods, Lima, OH; six grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Breyer, of Dearborn Heights, MI; two brothers, James (Jan) Woods, of Dearborn, MI, and Richard (Gillian) Woods, of Dearborn Heights, MI.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH, with Rev. Bryan Bucher officiating.
