Rebecca Adams

Rebecca S. Adams, 55, died at 5:39 p.m. February 20, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born December 23, 1952, in Lima, Ohio to Harry and Barbara Fuller Kurtz. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Lima, Ohio. Her husband, Billy Thompson , survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Adams enjoyed learning, including reading and using the Internet. She loved her grandchildren. Survivors also include six children, Jason Adams, of Greenville, Deanna (Desmond Deeble) Adams, of Lima, Ohio, Kaniya (George) Austin, of Lima, Ohio, Kiyana Thompson, of Lima, Ohio, Billy (Jennifer Thorburn) Thompson II, of Beaverdam, Ohio, and Reese (Erena) Thompson, of New Zealand; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Babb, of Lima, Ohio; a brother, David (Brenda) Kurtz, of Spencerville, Ohio; and many family and friends. Services will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Wanda Werking will officiate. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
