Rebecca "Becky" Hefner

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Hefner, 52, passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Ritas. 

Becky was born on June 9, 1972, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Albert Curtis and Barbara Ann (Vayhinger) Tuttle. On January 25, 1992, she married Timothy John Hefner who survives in Lafayette. 

 Becky was a 1991 graduate of Elida High School and Apollo Career Center where she studied Landscape and Floral Design. She loved her dogs Willy and Daisy. Becky enjoyed doing diamond art paintings, reading, listening to audiobooks, and collecting butterflies. She loved her family and spending time with them. Her grandson Grayson was the light of her life, and she loved her husband Timothy with all of her heart. 

She is survived by her husband Timothy; daughter, Katie Marie Hefner (Dustin) Burrell; grandson, Grayson Adrian Burrell; nephews, Eli Christian Franklin, Curtis Banks, Travis (Sari) Tuttle, Trey and Tyler Anderson; and sisters, Kimberly (Leanord) Tuttle Franklin, and Traci Anderson. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Terri Banks, and Timothy Tuttle; nephew, Kevin Banks, and her mother and father-in-law, John Raymond and Blanche Mae Hefner. 

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Val Aspinall will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Congenital Heart Foundation.
