55, of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at 9:31 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born February 27, 1957 in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Hugo DeFinis and the late Mary Catherine (Stiffler) DeFinis.
Renato had worked for Lima Electric for 25 years. He served in the Ohio National Guard, and he was a member of the St. Charles Parish. Renato was a man who loved deeply. He loved his family and every friend generously. He loved his Lord fully, and his love for his country was genuine. His sensitivity and humor were unmatched, his loyalty-true. We all, who are fortunate for his touch upon our lives, will continue to love him deeply and miss him dearly.
Surviving are: a brother Peter J. DeFinis of Cridersville, Ohio; two sisters, Christina B. Penick of Salem, OH and Eliza (Curtis) Kaehler of Lima, OH; many nieces and nephews; and lifetime dear friends, Jackie Bakies and her family, of Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Stephen Blum officiating.
