Rev. Ronald E. Urban

Rev. Ronald E. Urban, 76, of Elida went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, June 05, 2013, at 7:30 PM at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert, Ohio.

He was born on Wednesday, November 18, 1936, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late William Frank Urban and Evelyn [Feigert] Urban.

On Saturday, October 05, 1957, in Massillon, OH, he married Helen [Rose] Urban and she survives in Elida.

He was an Associate Pastor at Massillon Baptist Temple and then he was pastor for over 20 years at Faith Baptist Church, Elida. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by a daughter, Ronda (Doug) Price, of Zoar, OH; a son, Ronald Urban of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren Khristal, Joshua, and Ryan (Stephania) Hesseling; three great grandchildren; a brother F. Neil (Janet) Urban, Canton, OH, and two nieces & a nephew.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, June 08, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 08, 2013 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas A. Cooper officiating.
