Rhonda Leann Stringfield

Rhonda Leann Stringfield, 46, of Lima, passed into the arms of the Lord, surrounded by family and friends, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born on April 22, 1978, in Lima to John and Patricia {Wilson} Stringfield. Her mother survives in Lima.

Leann graduated from Rhodes State College with a Dental Hygiene Associate Degree, and then in 2012 with a Science of Engineering Associate Degree. She loved Thanksgiving and Christmas time, where she got to spend quality time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter Ella and being with her grandbabies.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Cole (Mackenzee) Owens and Ella Owens; 3 brothers; 1 sister; grandsons, Greyson and Hudson Owens; the love of her life, Mike Owens; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; niece, Amanda Stringfield; and her canine companion, Cooper.

Family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church, where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Rev. Russ Stringfield will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made towards the funeral expenses.
