Richard Brinkman,
69, of Lima, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Shawnee Manor in Lima. Richard was born in Lima on May 27, 1947 to the late Norbert and Alma {Baumgartner} Brinkman.
On June 29, 1968, he married Miriam Zeller, who survives in Lima. Richard is also survived by his children Donna Keener, Susan (Jason) Abbott, and Bob Brinkman, grandchildren Matthew Keener, James Keener, and Elliott Abbott, sisters Patricia Hughes, Anita Meredith, and Mary Grothaus, brothers Eugene (Judy) Brinkman, Charles (Byrle) Brinkman, Robert (Maggie) Brinkman, and James Brinkman.
Richard was preceded in death by his brother Donald Brinkman, sisters Julia Brickner and Dorothy Hecht, and brother-in-law Paul Grothaus.
Richard was an avid poker player and was a member of the Eagles Aerie 371. He was also a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, enjoyed nature, doing woodwork, and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
