Richard Fisher

Richard Jennings ?Dick? Fisher, 84, died at 3:20 p.m. April 9, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born December 15, 1923, in Lafayette, Ohio to Howard J. and Cora Stoodt Fisher, who preceded him in death. On October 23, 1942, he married Iona Staley, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Fisher retired from Standard Oil Refinery after 35 years. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He was a member of Sager Lodge 513 Free & Accepted Masons. Survivors also include two sons, Edwin L. (Emily) Fisher, of Bellbrook, Ohio, and Dwaine J. (Marla) Fisher, of Clarksville, Ohio; a daughter, Barbara L. (Noel) Morrison, of Johnstown, OHio; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Basil Fisher. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Howard M. Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. today.
