Richard JOHNSON

Richard A. Johnson, 51, died at 7:24 p.m. March 31, 2009, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born Aug. 4, 1957, in Lima to Bobby K. Johnson and Elnora Kave Klink. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Lima. Mr. Johnson had worked at Rays Clocktower and Dollar General Store. He enjoyed working, being outdoors and collecting and shopping for antiques. Survivors also include his companion and caregiver, Juanita Bouvier, of Cairo; a brother, Robert W. Johnson, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Mary Ann Craven, of Greenville, N.C.; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Lee Johnson; paternal grandparents, Joe and Ruby Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Effie Vaughn and LaVerne Kave. There will be no service. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
