Richard Dick Landers

Richard P. ?Dick? Landers 75, died at 3:45 a.m. February 5, 2010, at Triumph Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born October 5, 1934, in Urbana to Joseph and Eleanor Shaw Landers, who preceded him in death. On January 10, 1959, he married Florella ?Sue? Mumaugh, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Landers was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He enjoyed reading and working on cars. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a National Guard veteran. Survivors also include four sons, Anthony (Cindy) Landers, of Lima, Ohio, Robert (Deb Lorge) Landers, of Ada, Ohio, and David Landers and Dennis Landers, both of Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Carol Landers, of Lima, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Janice Landers, of Lima, Ohio; six grandchildren, Shane Landers, Courtney Landers, Jeremy Shipman, Brittany Shipman, Ashley Kennedy and Mattie Sue Ish; a great-grandson, Keaton Jacobs; and a brother, Ed Landers, of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Landers. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Joy Poonoly will officiate.
