Richard “Dick” Randall Lee, 81, passed away the morning of Friday, December 29, 2023, at his home in Lima.

Richard was born on July 20, 1942, in Lima, Ohio, to Harry R. and Betty G. Boss (Keenan-Zwiebel) Lee.  On June 4, 1966, he married the love of his life, Susan J. (Smith) Lee, who preceded him in death on December 28, 2010.

Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1964 – 1966.  He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2003 where he worked both assembly and maintenance. Richard previously worked at Rinks and Lima Tank Plant. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was especially proud of his grand and great-grandchildren. He was an auxiliary member of the Bowersock Brothers VFW Post 6772-Spencerville. He was a former member of the Tri-County CB Club. His and Susan’s handles were King and Queen of Hearts. He enjoyed summers at the Maumee River, most recently camping at Lucy’s 22, and loved his “river” family. He religiously ate at Bob Evans on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7 a.m. with his fellow Veterans and Ford Retirees. Richard was a member of Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. As an adult, he found the Lord and was saved. He eagerly volunteered and served as parking lot attendant for many years.

He is survived by son, Randall Sean (Julie) Lee of Spencerville, OH; daughters, Kerrie (Michael) Miller of Spencerville, OH and Sherrie (Becky) Lee-Dennis of Irving, TX; daughter-in-law Kristin Lee of Lima; grandchildren: Christopher Lee, Alyxandra (Benjamin) Bingham, Asia (Michael) Stumph, India (Brad) McGovern, Olivia (Dale Gauche) Miller, Richard T. (Liz) Lee; sisters-in-law: June Frost, Ann Rice, and Teresa Hall.
