Rita M. Scullin

Rita M. Scullin , 93, passed away at 1:15 AM on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

Rita was born on Friday, September 10, 1920, in Lima, Ohio, to Owen and Martha [Kaple] Moran who preceded her in death.

On Thursday, September 04, 1941 she married Ralph Scullin who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Scullin was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was a member of Elks Lodge #54 Lima and Eagles Aerie #370 Lima. She was a bridge player.

She is survived by two daughters, Janet (James) Wade and Mary Jo (Robert) Williams both of Lima and a son, Tom (Patricia) Scullin of Lima. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, seventeen great -grandchildren, seven great- great grandchildren and a sister Joan Hunt of Mason, OH.

Preceding her in death a brother,Owen "Bud" Moran and sister-in-law Clara Moran, brother-in-law Roger Hunt.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Charles Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 25, 2014
at 10:00 AM, Father Stephen Blum will officiate.

Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church
