Robert M. Clark
Age 96, died at 8:45 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
Robert was born on November 25, 1919, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late William J. Clark and Ivah M. (Carey) Clark. On Friday, December 25, 1942, he married Arlene (Caris) Clark who preceded him in death on February 28, 1995.
Mr. Clark retired from the National Lime & Stone Company after 50 years of service. He was a member of the Market Street Presbyterian Church and a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church in Findlay, Ohio. He spent four years in the Navy during World War II, CASU 54, Task Force 58. Mr Clark was a member of SPEBSQSA and the Millstreamer Quartet. He was a member of Elks Lodge BPOE # 54. In addition he received his 32nd degree in the Scottish Rite, Valley of Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Past Exalted Rulers Association of the Elks Lodge BPOE #54. Bob was also a member of The Ohio Contractors and Suppliers Assn. Bob loved the game of golf and was a long time member of Hawthorne Hills Country Club.
He is survived by, two sons, Joseph C. Clark, Marysville, OH, and Thomas R. (Cheryl) Clark, Lima, OH. and a granddaughter, Lauren (Kirby) Slocum and three great grandsons, Ethan, Brady and Carter of Traverse City, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by, a brother, William "Bill" Clark and a sister, Marjorie Wise.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Mark Rich of Market Street Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Interment will be in Hasson Cemetery, Hancock County Orange Twp.
