Robert E. Foor, 86, died at 12:46 a.m. November 14, 2010, at St, Rita?s Medical Center. He was born November 3, 1924, in Waynesfield, Ohio to Ralph and Lillian Bennette Foor, who preceded him in death. On November 8, 1952, in Angola, Indiana, he married Emma Sroufe, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Foor was a 1942 graduate of Wayne High School in Waynesfield, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy from May 1943 to January 1946. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church where he was active as a trustee, usher and choir member. He was a member of the Masons and retired from Trisco Systems after 49 years. He was a bricklayer and tuck-pointer. Survivors also include two daughters, Darlene (Gary) Grau, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Joyce (Eugene) Fernandez, of Findlay, Ohio; four grandchildren, Monica (Joseph) Taflinger, of Lima, Ohio, Mark Puglise, in the Air Force in Guam, Angela (Adam) Cawrse, of Lorain, Ohio, and Philip Fernandez, of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two great-grandchildren, Emma Taflinger and Noah Cawrse; and a sister, Cleona Colgan, of Lima, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donavan Foor. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Pastor David Stanford will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, and 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
