Robert D. "Bob" Henderson

Robert D. "Bob" Henderson, 59, died at 1:10 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at his residence in Lima.

Bob was born on Monday, September 06, 1954, in Lima to the late Clyde David Henderson and mother Leota M. [Dennison] Henderson who survives in Lima.

On Friday, May 28, 1993, he married Diana "Dee" (Bogart) Henderson who survives in Lima.

Bob had worked in the Sanitation Department at Resers Fine Foods. Prior to working for Resers he was a glass installer for several area businesses. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, watching football, fishing and watching wrestling.

He is survived by two sons Shawn (Jill) Henderson and Brandon (Cailee Vance) Henderson both of Lima; two daughters Brittany Henderson and Courtney Henderson both of Lima. Also surviving are six grandchildren Gabbriella Taylor, Madilynn Henderson, Kaylynn Henderson, Emma Henderson, Bryson Freytag and Cassidy Freytag; two brothers David E. (Mary) Henderson, and George (Betty "Jane") Henderson and a sister Edith "Jane" (Randy) Klett, all of Lima.

He was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn "June" Henderson.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.


Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Cory officiating.
