Robert V. Henshaw

Robert V. Henshaw,  78, passed away at 10:22 a.m. on Friday August 27, 2021, at his residence.

Robert was born on October 24, 1942, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Bill and Ataca (Rhodes) Henshaw.  On April 2, 1983 he married the love of his life, Joyce Ellen Keevert who preceded him in death on June 20, 2017.

Robert was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. With a rank of First Sargent. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.

He is survived by a son Robert V. Henshaw II of New York, NY; three stepdaughters: Lisa (Mike) MacDonald of Drummond Island, MI, Lee Ann (Steve) Timmerman of Ada, OH, and Lynn (Rory) Bedford of Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren, Caleb MacDonald, Joshua (Ashley) MacDonald, Andrew (Melissa) MacDonald, Shane (Katie) Young, A. Kent (Brianne) Young, Kyle Messer, Matthew Timmerman, Blaine Timmerman; five great-grandchildren, Adalyn Young, Zyia Young, Kellan Young, Dillon MacDonald, Morgan MacDonald; and a brother William (Evelyn) Henshaw of Dallas, TX.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
