Robert E. “Beebs” Jacobs,

56, of Lima, died at 4:45 AM on the 30th of May at Lima Convalescent Home with his loving mother and family by his side.

Bob was born July 5, 1961 in Lima to Ronald and Ginger (Gossard) Jacobs who survive in Lima.

Bob is survived by one sister, Dawn (Joe) Hicks and two brothers, Tom (Mic) Jacobs, Buzz (Tonya) Jacobs, all of Lima; two uncles, William (Joyce) Gossard, Rick (Vicki) Jacobs; fours nephews and three nieces, Mike (Jodi) Hicks of Lima, Chris (Abby) Hicks of Ft. Jennings, Brandon (Morgan) Jacobs of Lima, Shawn (Ashley) Jacobs of Jacksonville, N.C., Jessica (Rian) Jacobs of Lima, Tiffany Jacobs of Lima and Liz (Donald) Baker of Amelia, OH and an aunt, Deloris Gossard.

He was preceded in death by; maternal grandparents, Victor and Opal Gossard and paternal grandparents, Charles and Rita Jacobs; three uncles Glenn and Betty Gossard, John Gossard and Jack Gossard.

Bob will be loved and missed by all especially his two dogs, Munch and Spike along with his three cats; Dink, Grubber and Dj. Bob attended Marimor Industries where he was named Poster Child in 1969-70. He had worked at Pizza Hut and Meijers in his younger days. He enjoyed listening to Elvis, dancing, bowling, going to the races with his pappy and watching wrestling where his favorite wrestler was, Undertaker. In the summer months Bob also loved to sit outside for hours whittling on wood. He was also a member of the Lima Eagles #370 Lodge and the Lima Moose Lodge #199.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Gerards Catholic Church at 10 AM. Interment will be at Gethsemani Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit Friday, June 1, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM followed by a Parish Wake Service at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Gerards Catholic Church.
