Robert L. Krause II

We are sad to announce the passing of Robert “Bob” L. Krause of Lima, Ohio on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 70.

Robert was born on July 31, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Patsy Jean (Brach) Krause.

Robert attended Defiance College where he earned a Bachelor of Science; he then attended Bowling Green University where he earned his Master’s Degree. He spent over 30 years working with the Bureau of Vocational Rehab helping adults with disabilities gain or return to employment. He loved motorcycles and different types of engines. Robert was adventurous and tried other things that people tried even though he was blind.

He is survived by his brother, Norman (Deborah) Krause; nephews, Dale (Marla) Krause and Norman Krause; and great-nephews, Jeremy and Matthew Krause. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gayle Krause.

A small ceremony will be held at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home on December 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. for close friends and family with viewing from 12 – 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio.
