Robert William Lovett
Robert William "Bob," Lovett, 53, passed away on February 17, 2016, at 9:13pm at his residence. Bob was born on September 27, 1962, to Edward F. and Jean E. (Wolf) Lovett, who preceded him in death. On October 11, 1985, he married Gail Lynch, who survives in Lima.
Bob owned and operated Lovett Signature Auto; he truly loved and enjoyed cars. He was a true family man, was a devoted coach to his sons, and many other Lima Area kids in football, baseball, and basketball. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and his family played right along with him. Bob never met a stranger, and if you didn't know him at first, it certainly wouldn't be long until you got to know him. He loved his dog Maddie, and his grand dogs.
Also surviving to carry on his legacy of humor and work ethic, are his two sons; Brett (Sydney Affholder) Lovett, and Anthony "Tony," (Paige Gerig) Lovett. His brothers; Edward J. (Janice) Lovett, and Thomas P. (Lorain) Lovett, and three sisters; Kathi (Leo) Sibert, Pam (Joe) Chavalia, and Terri (John) Hullibarger, along with nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Friends may call at Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral home, 920 N. Cable Rd, Lima Ohio 45805 on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, from 2pm to 6pm, with a memorial service at 6pm, which will be a time for sharing memories of Bob, moderated by Doug Wise.
