Robert O. Shepard, Jr.
passed away on December 21st, 2014 at lima Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born in Lima, Ohio on December 16, 1951 to Robert Sr. and Edith Sharp Shepard.
He was owner and operator of Shepard Drywall. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Smith Shepard, married on March 28, 1968 sisters Marcella (John Sr.) Schlesselman and Edith (Ronnie Sr.) Vanderpool. His children Alane (James) McFarland, Elizabeth (Ronnie Jr.) Tummel, and Robert III (Holly) Shepard. Grandchildren Joshua, Veronica, Angelita, Abigail, Audrey, Ronnie III, Dylan, Kirstin and Zachary; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Lewis Jr, and Alexander. He was a role model and father figure to 22 nieces and nephews and was especially close to nephew John Schlesselman Jr.
He will be missed by all who loved and respected him and remembered for the positive influence he had in all our lives. "A man every man should aspire to be."
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 12 Noon at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Wayne Prater will officiate. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, Ohio
