Robert "Robby" Lee Smith II,
22, died at 1 PM on Monday, September 4, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
Robert was born on Monday, February 2, 1995, in Lima, to Robert Lee (Deb Gilbert) Smith and Erma (Elliot) Gipson, who both survive. On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, he married Rebecca (Dray) Smith who survives in Lima.
Robert loved spending time with family and friends and playing basketball and football.
He is survived by his siblings, Kalia Gipson, Colby (Elizabeth) Gipson, Brittany (Bryan) Smith, Casey Smith, Amber Nickles, Amanda (Steven) Harmon and Bo Barker and fourteen nieces and nephew. He has one son and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa and five uncles.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Ark of the Covenant Baptist Church in Lima, Ohio. Rev. Arnold will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
