Robert Randall "Randy" Spayd, Jr., 64 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, August 6, 2011, 5:11 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center,
Born Tuesday, December 10, 1946 in Lima to Robert Spayd and Claudia (Griffin) Spayd who preceded him in death. He married Linda Sibold September 27, 1968 and she survives.
He attended Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. Member of Eagles Aerie 370 Lima. Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #199 Lima. He was a 1965 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Institute, Daytona Beach, FL and attended The Ohio State University, Lima. He enjoyed boating and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.He was employed by Teledyne/Ohio Steel and retired from Whirlpool - Findlay after 15 years.
There will be an Eagles Service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 followed by a Memorial Service at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Huckins offiiciating.
The cremated remains will be buried at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are son, Chris (Laura) Spayd of Columbus, OH, daughter, Carmen Spayd of Lima, OH, three grandchildren Evelyn Rose Spayd, Gavin Montgomery and Keaton Montgomery sister, Claudia (George) Sullivan of Lima, OH.
