Robert James Spuehler, 64 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in Chicago on May 23, 1947 to Wilbur and Catherine Luther Spuehler who preceded him death.
He was an Army Vietnam Veteran having served from 1966-1972 and a Life Member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #1275
Surviving are: sons, Robert Spuehler, Jr. of Oklahoma and Steven Spuehler of Texas; daughters, Michelle (Shawn) King of Lima and Kristi Spuehler; two brothers, William (Cathy) Spuehler of Missouri and Thomas Spuehler of Oklahoma, and several grandchildren. Also surviving are: friends, Ben Larick, Fairborn,OH, and Ralph Marshall of Lima, and a close friend, Barbara Stevens of Lima.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, followed by Military Honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1275.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice.
Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH
