Robert L. ‘Bobby’  Harmon

Age 42, after a long courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at 8:14 PM on Friday, June 15, 2018, at his home, in Lima, surrounded by his family and friends.

Robert was born on January 8, 1976, in Lima, Ohio, to Chuck Chettle  and Georgia  (Harmon) Chettle. Both survive in West Grove, PA.

Bobby had worked at I.H.S. Services.  He enjoyed golfing and paintballing and enjoyed spending time with his friends Scott Blair and Paul Slygh AKA the “Wolverine Pack” .

He is survived by his children, Sierra (Daniel) Harmon, of Mc Guffey, OH, Hunter Harmon, of Troy, OH, and Ashlee Harmon, of Troy, OH; a granddaughter Lyla Crowe; a grandfather Charles Chettle; and his Fiancé Beth Rupert, of Lima, OH.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Perl & Margaret Harmon, and paternal grandmother, Patricia Chettle.

The family will receive friends from  2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
