Roger Neal Brockert Sr.
74, died at 1:46 AM on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

Roger was born on June 6, 1941, in Allen County, Ohio, to the late Frank Peter Brockert and Doris Virginia (Sullivan) Brockert. On Saturday, August 30, 1969, he married Sandra Elizabeth (Seimet) Brockert, whom survives in Lima, Ohio.

Roger was a 1960 graduate of Lima Senior High School in Lima, Ohio. He had worked as a order picker at International Brake and as a stockroom attendant at Warner Swazey. He was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was really proud of his Grandkids. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards.

He is survived by a daughter, Nanette (Jerome "Jerry") Nolder, of Zanesville, OH, two sons, Roger (Jennifer) Brockert, Jr., of Elida, OH and Matthew Brockert, of Elida, OH; eight grandchildren, Peyton, Jessica, Patrick, Gabrielle, Drew, Grant, Greg and Derek; a sister, Rita Truesdale, of Lima, OH two brothers-in-law Charles (Deb) Seimet of Lakeview, OH and Mark (Tiffany) Seimet of Findlay, OH.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lima, OH. Father Mike Sergi will officiate.

Interment will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
