Ronald "Ron" Miller

Ronald J. "Ron" Miller, 85 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 3:27 P.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Friday, October 22, 1926 in Lima to the late James T. Miller and Cecile (Mowery) Miller. On April 18, 1947 he married Emra "Jean" Lewis and she survives in LIma.
He was a Veteran of World War II serving in U. S. Navy. He had worked for Airfoil Textron retiring after 33 years.
He was a life member of B&POE Lodge #54, Lima, Life Member of VFW Post 1275, Eagles Aerie 370 Lima, American Legion Post 96 Lima, Enjoyed bowling and was in the Lima Bowling Hall of Fame also golfing and watching any sporting event.
Surviving are son, Ron E. (Lynn) Miller, Sr. of Lima and a daughter, Cheryl "Cheri" (David) Fett of Lima also surviving are eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald James Miller and three sisters; Helen Baughman, Mary Stewart and Dorothy Grimm.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 11, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Dennis Kline officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH, with graveside Military Honors by VFW Post #1275.
