Ronald L. "Ron" Moore,
73, of Lima, Ohio died on Monday, June 25, 2012, at 5:20 A.M. at Baton Rouge in Lima, Ohio.
Born Friday, May 26, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Earl Moore and the late Wilta (Howell) Moore.
After 34 years of service, Ronald retired from General Motors as an inspector. He was also an Antique Car Enthusiast.
Surviving are: a former wife, Dorothy Sable Moore of Michigan, a son, Scott A. Moore of Michigan: a brother, Earl R. (Lois) Ruffner of Naples, FL; three sisters, Anne Schiellerd of Lima, OH, Peggy L. Schumaker of Lima, OH and Patty J. Warden of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends in Michigan; and a special care giver and nephew Skip Schumaker.
He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Owens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Michael Hartman officiating.
