Ronald Reese

Ronald A. ?Butterball? Reese, 72, died at 4:37 a.m. April 21, 2008, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center, Florida. He was born August 21, 1935, in Allen County, Ohio to William Richard and Edna Allen Reese, who preceded him in death. On December 1, 1955, he married Barbara Truesdale, who survives in Cridersville, Ohio. Mr. Reese retired from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 43 years. He had worked part time for the Shawnee Township and Fort Shawnee police departments. His main enjoyment in life was his children and grandchildren. Survivors also include a daughter, Arletta (Dan) Bradford, of Cridersville, Ohio; two sons, Richard T. (Cheryl) Reese, of Ada, Ohio, and Ronald A. (Mary) Reese II, of Goodrich, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Kristi Reese, Michael Reese, Nickolas Bradford, Samuel Reese, Kaeley Bradford, Jackson Reese and Joshua Reese; and a brother, Arthur Reese, of Salesville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Thoma Reeses and Raymond Elbert Reese. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry K. Wiles will officiate. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
