Ronald H. Stiles

99, died at 3:30 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Ronald was born on January 13, 1919, in Lakeview, OH to the late John L. and Jenny {Musser} Stiles.  On Saturday, March 2, 1946, he married Albertha “Bert” {Mauk} Stiles, she preceded him in death on November 30, 2009.

He is survived by two sons, Tom (Cindy) Stiles, and John (Sue) Stiles, both of Lima, OH; two grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Jackson and Matt (Brittany) Stiles; five great grandchild, Grace, Ellie, Maddie, Lily, and Will; sister Joan McBeth; brother Jack (Marilyn) Stiles; brother-in-law Bill Placie; sister-in-laws Sue Mauk and Janet Mauk.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his sister Vera Mauk.

Ronald loved to fish and hunt. He had an adventurous spirit and lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and served honorably to his country and to the Lord.

The family will receive friends from 1PM to 4PM on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio; with a funeral service following at 4PM. Pastor Gary Hohman will officiate. Private graveside services will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Uniopolis, OH.
