79 of Lima, Ohio joined the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Saturday, September 10, 1932 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Earl Point, Sr. and the late Flossie Martin
She married Jack R. Adams,Sr. On February 6, 1954 in Indiana. He survives in Lima. Throughout her life Rose enjoyed being a homemaker and seamstress. She had previously worked at Lima Memorial Health Systems and the Cigar Factory. She loved flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons, Jack R. Adams, Jr. and Gary L. (Eve) Adams of Lima, OH, daughters, Kimberly (Jim) Eley of Lima, OH and Lori Adams of Spencerville, OH, Six grandchildren, Michael Paul Adams, Jennifer (Casey) Adams-Reynolds, Sara (Bill) Dahill, James Dellinger, Zacheriah Salyer, Jack R. Adams III, and five great grandchildren, Cole, Noah, Shyanne, Mason, Gauge, and Caitlyn, and other step-grandchildren. Three sisters, Mary Crider, Betty Oen and Donna Cartwright.
She was predeceased by brothers, Earl Point, Jr. and Robert Point. Sisters, Ann Dawson and Eleanor Miller. And a very special Mother-in-law Harriett Vandemark.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Wanda Werking officiating. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2011, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home,
