91, of Lima, Ohio died on Monday, December 17, 2012, at 2:20 A.M. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio..
Born March 5, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph McFarland and the late Mary (Langan) McFarland.
Rosemary was a very devout Catholic and a lifelong parishioner of St. Rose Catholic Church in Lima. She had worked at Westinghouse as a secretary. For several years she lived in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Survivors are: two nephews, John (Cathy) McFarland of Lima, OH, and Mike (Sheila) McFarland of South Bend, IN: a niece, Peggy McFarland, of Lima, OH; three great nephews, Jason McFarland, James McFarland, and Michael McFarland; and a special friend, Norine Snyder of Lima, OH.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Fr. John P. McFarland, Fr. Jerome McFarland, Eugene McFarland and Francis H. McFarland; and a sister, Ellen McFarland.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Memorial Mass will be on Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Rose Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Father David Ross officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Lima Central Catholic High School or St. Rose Catholic Church.
