Ruby Craver

Ruby G. Craver, 89, died at 11:18 p.m. March 22, 2008, at Bridge Home Health & Hospice, Findlay. She was born September 18, 1918, in Lima, Ohio to William Henry and Luetta Magdeline Eberle Secrist, who preceded her in death. On June 15, 1938, she married Ernest Craver, who died February 2, 1977. Mrs. Craver was a homemaker. She was a member of South Side Christian Church. She enjoyed her family, gardening, cooking and taking care of animals. Survivors include five daughters, Eileen (Don) Anderson, of Lima, Ohio, Joan Hunter, of Bluffton, Ohio, Shirley Jean (George) Geiser, of Toledo, Ohio, Patricia Craver, of Troy, Ohio, and Donna Alderton, of Montezuma,Ohio; and nine grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Secrist; and a great-grandson, Isaac Lyle. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Charles Hunter and Tod Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
