Ruth Ann Brillhart 88, died at 9:47 a.m. December 14, 2007, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1919, in Perry Township, Ohio to Orville and Lucille Stevenson McPheron, who preceded her in death. On November 24, 1938, she married Wilbur A. Brillhart, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Brillhart was a homemaker. She was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church and had attended Grace United Methodist Church for 60 years, where she was a member of its Ladies Society and Chapel Class. She was a member of Trinity Chapter 16 Order of Eastern Star, for more than 60 years, and was on the Rainbow Girls board. She was a charter member of Tamarac Golf Course and had been a member of the Tamarac Ladies Golf Association. She served on the YWCA board for 25 years. She was a charter member of Delta Tau High School Sorority and was still active up to last Thursday when she played cards with them. She was a member of the Pleasantiers Club. She went to Florida every winter for the last 30 years, spending 20 of those in Sarasota, Florida, and 10 in Lakeland, Florida. Survivors also include two daughters, Ellen Kay (Harry) Johnson, of Elida, Ohio, and Carol Sue (Joe) Nichols, of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Janette Mort, of Lima, Ohio; five granddaughters, Jennifer (Bill) Young, Karmen (Bill) Bruce, Jill (John) Sreenan, Elizabeth (Roger) Ferrell and Victoria (Jason Miller) Nichols; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Glen McPheron. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Charlotte Hefner will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
