Ruth M. Dellinger,

95, died at 3:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Primrose Retirement Community in Lima, Ohio.

Ruth was born on Friday, February 9, 1923, in Delphos, to the late Charles Hiram and Margaret Marie (Gessner) Davis.  On September 7, 1946, Ruth married Arthur L. Snyder, who died June 6, 1957.  She then married Harry Dellinger on January 5, 1993, he died December 14, 1999.

She worked as a Beauty operator for 18 years.  She also worked at Superior Coach, Markey-Bronze, and retired from the office of Doctors Gene Wright and Emmett Murray.  She was a member of Southside Christian Church and was active in their Christian Women's Fellowship, Lydia Circle, and Prayer Shawl Ministry. Through Prayer Shawl Ministry, she touched so many lives. God not only gifted Ruth with the ability to knit, but with that talent, she lovingly touched the lives of hundreds of people with her "fancy work" on behalf of Christ.

She is survived by: sons, David C. (Lee) Snyder, James (Diane) Snyder and Les (Jean) Snyder; grandchildren, Michael (Dana) Snyder, Loren Snyder and Joseph Snyder; step- grandchildren, Jerry (Kim Hilleary) McDonald and Shawn McDonald; great-grandchildren, Kurtis McDonald and Fite Snyder; brother, Elmer (Alice) Davis and sister-in-law, Belva Weeks.

She was preceded in death by: brother, John Davis.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio with an hour of visitation prior to the service.  Rev. Todd Cosart will officiate.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to South Side Christian Church.
