60, died at 3:00 AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at her sister's residence in Lima, Ohio.
Ruth was born on May 1, 1954, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Irvin Smith and Inez (Stidham) Smith. On Sunday, August 8, 1999, she married Richard Keller. He survives in Lima.
Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of the Word of Blaze Christian Church in Jackson, KY. She volunteered for many years at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen. She loved Betty Boop and the University of Kentucky Sports Teams.
She is survived by her children, Kathy (Jon) Deal, Marie (Mark) Mayer, Bobby (Soneda) McKee, Mike (Leslie) McKee and Matt (Tina) McKee, all of Lima; fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; thirteen siblings, Sandy (Ronnie) Bailey, Roger Smith, Lynn (Jenny) Smith, Michael (Kim) Smith, Debbie Smith, Teresa Smith, Rick (Martha) Smith, Pam (Bruce) Vanschoyck, Paul (Chesea) Smith, Candy Smith, Johnny Smith, Becky Stidham, Joanne Smith; lots of nieces and nephews; and her ex-husband Bob McKee.
She was preceded in death by a two brothers Darrell Smith and Billy Smith, a sister-in-law Vicky Smith; three grandchildren, Mark Jacob Deal, Meagen Deal and Dereck Deal.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A graveside service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Ward Cemetery. Pastor Ed Jarrell will officiate.
