Ruth B. McLean 81, died at 6:15 a.m. October 31, 2009, at her home. She was born June 1, 1928, in Orlando, Florida, to George B. and Mabel T. Thompson Campbell. On May 24, 1946, she married Ernest Alexander McLean Sr., who died June 11, 1997. Mrs. McLean was a member of Westside United Methodist Church in Lima, Ohio. She retired from the Hub Room Truck Stop where she had been a manager. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8745 Auxiliary in Wapakoneta. She enjoyed playing games and crocheting. Survivors include a son, Ernest A. (Kelly) McLean Jr., of Wapakoneta, Ohio; three daughters, Virginia McMullen and Muriel Gail McLean, both of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Donna (Rodney) Estep, of Harrod, Ohio; two sisters, Florence Gaitley and Elizabeth Church; four grandchildren; Frank Jennings, Shamus (Rachel) Estep, Shaeba (Brent) Tabler, and Tobey (Keri) McLean; and eight great-grandchildren, Carey Jennings, Madyson Jennings, Adyen Estep, Geneva Estep, Kiya Tabler, Ayla Tabler, Liam McLean and Hudson McLean. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia and Mary Campbell. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor William Cronk will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
