79 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Saturday, March 5, 1932 in Lima, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Victor Lyle and the late Lillian Hullinger Lyle.
Ruth married Neil G. Patton on November 5, 1960; he preceded her in death on March 23, 2003. Mrs. Patton was a member of the Lima Baptist Temple. She had been a waitress for 29 years working at Charlies, Luigi's and Casa Lu Al. She liked golf, bowling and Nascar. She was a former member of the Orioles Nest #173, Lima. She loved to work with flowers.
Surviving are: a daughter, Pam Huffer of Cridersville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Timothy Williams of Lima, Ohio, Randy & Kim Huffer of Indiana, Darren & Lisa Huffer of Lima, Ohio, Michael & Kim Oglesbee of Lima, Ohio; a niece and caregiver, Sandy S. Kennedy of Lima, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Diane Wise, a sister, Bearice Puff; a step-son, Gary Patton; a son-in-law, Murrel Wise; a sister, Bearice Puff; and a nephew, Michael Army.
There will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
