91, passed away at 6:40 PM on Friday, April 23, 2015, at Lima Convalescent Home.
Ruth was born on October 15, 1923, in Clayton, Ohio, to the late Eugene M. and Helen E. (Schwinn) Conner. On January 06, 1945, she married Harold W. Rutherford.
Ruth was formerly of Dayton, Ohio and Hillsboro, Ohio. She was a 1941 graduate of Waynesville High School, Waynesville, Ohio (near Dayton). She worked as a secretary at J. C. Penneys in Dayton, Ohio for 16 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Third Street Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio.
She leaves: daughters, Susan E. Rutherford, Dayton, Sheri (James) Leaman, Lima; granddaughter, Jennifer M. (Bradley) Waller, Cincinnati, grandson, Joseph S. (Michelle) Leaman, Akron, great grandchildren, Jillian M. Waller, Cincinnati, Robert K. Waller, Cincinnati.
She is preceded in death by: infant daughter, Margaret Rutherford; sisters, Winifred Sheward, Vivian LeMay and Marjorie Earhart.
Private interment of cremated remains will occur at a later date at Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
