Ruth Ann Silone, 84, of Lima, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born on November 5, 1940 in Lima to the late Harold and Ruth {Silver} Houseworth.
Ruth Ann retired from Kroger after 25 years. She was then an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance and then owner of The Blind Factory in Naples, Florida for 12 years. After her time in Florida, she moved back to Lima and “retired” to her home.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas (Cindy) Silone, John Silone, and David Silone, grandchildren: Daniel (Jen) Silone, Ben (Amy) Silone, Adrian (Shauna) Silone, Aaron Silone, Erick Silone, Maria Silone, Chasiti (Loren) Crum, Chariti (Adam) Carr, and Brooke Silone, 21 great-grandchildren, and sister: Linda Bradshaw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Johnny Houseworth and Thomas Houseworth, and her infant brother: Oscar Houseworth.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima on Friday, December 20, 2024. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
